Retailers across Merseyside are offering discounts on DIY essentials.

So whether you are planning on painting the walls in the living room or getting a new bathroom suite, there are plenty of deals for you to get your hands on.

We looked at the offers by B&Q, Homebase, Wickes and Tesco Direct, all of which are offering low prices on a variety of products.

B&Q are a popular retailer when it comes to stocking up on DIY essentials

DIY giant, B&Q is offering discounts on a range of products to help you revamp your home this Easter.

From showers, to shelving units, the retailer has a whole section on its website dedicated to Easter deals.

Some of the biggest savings can be found on Power tools and paints- we've listed some of the items with the biggest savings below.

Wickes is offering a range of discounts on bathroom products.

Deals include up to 40% off selected toilets and basins, up to 20% off shower screens and 25% off electric showers.

Items with the biggest discount includes Wickes Fresno Toilet 2 Go, Pan & Seat which was £104.99 now £42, Wickes Large Rectangular LED Bathroom Mirror was £88.99 now £66.49.

Homebase always promise to offer low prices.

This Easter, the retailer is not offering big discounts on individual products but instead are offering a £10 voucher when customers spend £50 or more in store and a £20 voucher when you spend £100 in store.

Tesco Direct- Save 20% off Large appliances

Tesco Direct has slashed the prices of its DIY items

Tesco direct is offering 20% on all large kitchen appliances. This seems to be one of the biggest deals shoppers can get their hands on this Easter from the retailer.

So for those of you who have finished the tiling and the paints and are looking for new appliances, these deals may catch your eye.

Savings range from £25-£10 and are available until April 19.

Stand out items include Hotpoint American Frost-Free Fridge Freezer in Black was £589 now £489, Hotpoint Gas Double Oven was £499 now £429 and Indesit Washer Dryer was £376 now £349.
