In an interview with LOVE Great Britain, Fantastic Beasts star Eddie Redmayne said one of his 鈥極MGB moments鈥?(Oh My Great Britain) was filming in Liverpool.

Eddie said: 鈥淢y OMGB moment was probably shooting in Liverpool .

"That鈥檚 a city that I just love and find endlessly inspiring through its history but also through its architecture, and we had the most wonderful time there.

鈥淥ne of the things that used to blow my mind about the Harry Potter films was getting to see parts of this country and I think it鈥檚 done amazing things for tourism.

"And whether it鈥檚 Leavesden or Kings Cross or up into Scotland, it鈥檚 showing our country off in the best possible way.?/p>

Last year the film industry contributed over £1 billion to the UK economy and VisitBritain research found the benefits extend to tourism.

With Liverpool becoming the set and backdrop to many films and television shows - it鈥檚 safe to say we have a lot to look forward to in the future.
