St Helens have parted company with head coach Keiron Cunningham.
After 24 years at the club as a player and coach, Cunningham will leave with immediate effect after a disappointing start to the season.
A club statement from Chairman Eamonn McManus said: 鈥淚t is both upsetting and disappointing for us all that it has ended at this point in time. Keiron nevertheless understands the position and, as a mark of the man that he is, wishes only well and good to the club, its players and everyone associated with it.?/p>
Fans on twitter have reacted to the news, and most of them think it is the right decision.
Alice Storey said: 鈥淗e鈥檚 a Saints legend, but it鈥檚 the right decision. Wish him all the best for the future but hope the lads have their eyes on Friday now!?/p>

St. Helens have had a disappointing start to the season, picking up just seven points from their first eight games.
The Saints were up 14-0 at half-time on Friday night against Huddersfield, but drew the match 14-14.
Many fans have been discouraged by the dull attacking play, the Saints averaging just 17 points in their first eight games.
Fans have been paying tribute to Cunningham, who made 496 appearance for the Saints as a player.
Peter Elder said: 鈥淰ery sad that it didn鈥檛 work out for KC, no doubts he gave his all as Head Coach. I thank him for his efforts, he remains a club legend.?/p>
Some have even suggested a replacement.
