Oumar Niasse would be eligible for a title winners鈥?medal should Everton win the Premier League 2 crown.
But it would be left to the discretion of the club to decide if he got one.
Everton鈥檚 under-23s need just two points from their final two games to clinch the championship ahead of Manchester City.
Niasse was a regular during the first-half of the season, making six appearances and scoring eight times as the young Blues set the pace in PL2.
But the Senegal international last played for David Unsworth鈥檚 side on January 8 against Sunderland after sealing a loan move to Hull City.
The Premier League rule that there are no set number of appearances required for a player to be eligible for a medal.
It is understood that 30 medals would be given to the Blues and then left up to the club to decide who gets one.
Unsworth has so far this season used 31 different players in the league - including Joel Robles - but it is fully expected that Niasse would receive a medal.
Everton鈥檚 second string next face Chelsea a week on Friday in Aldershot where a win will see them wrap up the title.
