Evertonians could be interested observers as the Blues majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri鈥檚 business partner Alisher Usmanov has taken a swipe at Stan Kroenke.
American entrepreneur Kroenke is Arsenal鈥檚 largest shareholder with a 66.64% stake in the Gunners, while Uzbek-born Russian business magnate Usmanov owns 30.04%.
There has been a long running power struggle at the London club between the two men and before Kroenke became majority shareholder, Usmanov had launched his own rival bid through Red & White Holdings along with Moshiri; who has since sold his shares at Arsenal to Usmanov to finance his part ownership of Everton.
Back in January of this year USM, one of the world鈥檚 largest private holding companies which was founded by Usmanov, became the named sponsors of Everton鈥檚 Finch Farm training ground on a five-year deal.
Usmanov appears to becoming increasingly disillusioned with affairs at the Emirates and in a report by Bloomberg he backs under-fire manager Arsene Wenger to choose his own successor if he leaves while questioning the decisions of Kroenke.
He said: 鈥淚 do not think that the coach alone is to be blamed for what is happening.
鈥淪ome continuity is needed.
鈥淭his includes the need to prepare a successor for Wenger, but in a very respectful way. I can suggest that Wenger himself can prepare a successor.
鈥淚 personally, unfortunately, am fully isolated from decision making in the club. All the responsibility for the fate of the club rests with the main shareholder.?/h3>
Some Everton supporters have voiced theories that Usmanov could eventually join Moshiri by buying into Everton.
