This is the shocking moment the New Ferry explosion was captured on video from inside the Cleveland Arms pub.
The massive blast that left over 30 people injured and one in critical condition shook the pub while resident band The Shedbrothers were playing.
Frontman Ken McKinney said the band thought a piece of their equipment had malfunctioned.
He told ECHO: 鈥淲hen it first went off I thought something had happened with one of the amplifiers but then we saw the glass everywhere. It was really surreal.?/p>
Everyone in the pub was directed into the ladies toilets to keep them away from the glass and in case of a second blast.
Ken added: 鈥淚 walked out through the back of the pub to where the explosion had happened and there was rubble everywhere.
鈥淎ll I could think was 鈥榯his could have killed us鈥?and that is when the realisation set in of the magnitude of what had gone on.?/p>
Ken and his other band members, Stephen, Ian and Calum were all shaken by the blast but continued with their commitments later on in the week.

The licensee of the Cleveland Arms, Ann Grimes, was not in the pub when the blast went off.
She said: 鈥淢y daughter, who was in the kitchen at the time, rang me straight away but didn鈥檛 know what had happened.
鈥淚 raced back to the pub straight away but it was carnage by the time I got there.
鈥淢y first priority was to make sure everyone was ok and thankfully no one inside the pub was hurt.?/p>
