The Tea Factory in Liverpool City Centre鈥檚 RopeWalks area has been turned into a modern, non-traditional office where small businesses and individuals can hire space.

Anyone can apply for a desk, room or event space at the two-floor office, which is described as a 鈥渃ollaborative workspace鈥?and 鈥渃o-working hub鈥?

The office is run by Spaces, a firm which originated in Amsterdam, and now has locations in Paris and London.

Spaces鈥?Tea Factory site is only the latest such 鈥榗o-working鈥?space in Liverpool, following Tempest on Tithebarn Street, The Loft in the Cotton Exchange and Basecamp in the Baltic Triangle.

The idea behind these spaces is that they allow small business in the city to build a network of contacts and interlinking services.

The Tea Factory has 239 seats, two meeting rooms, and comes in at 5,532 sq ft.

According to a spokesperson, offices start at £200 a month and 鈥渃o-working membership鈥?spaces start at £135 a month. However, cheaper memberships can be had if you only want space for five or ten days a month. Meeting rooms start at £45 a day.
